PADDLE FOR PROGRESS
Beginning on July 5, 2017, I will be setting forth on Minnesota’s 34 state water trails, paddling roughly 4,500 miles, to raise awareness of the threats facing the health of our state’s freshwater ecosystems. With approximately 40% of our state’s freshwater now considered polluted, we can no longer rely on others to solve this problem. We must all heed Governor Dayton’s call to action through the Year of Water Action. Our state’s rivers and lakes are not political and neither should we be. Please join me in finding ways to become part of the solution to one of our state’s greatest challenges.
MISSION
The mission of Paddle for Progress is to galvanize Minnesotans to take pride and ownership of the freshwater ecosystems that make our state unique.
